Year 7
Emerging from Pandemic Donation Year
Donation Growth
This year A Brief Moment started emerging from the confines of the previous Covid 19 donation years. This year was focused on rebuilding the connections within our community after being away from out in-person spaces for 2 years. We are proud of the accomplishments we had in our first foray back into our community spaces and felt privileged to have been welcomed back with so much encouragement. This year we received 404 pairs of underwear!
We are so grateful for our community coming together to support our local initiative. The donations we received allowed us to continue to support 4 of our local shelters in Waterloo region.
Community Partners
This year was our first year back in our community spaces since the start of the Covid 19 Pandemic. We would like to Thank the following businesses and organizations for welcoming us back:
Cambridge Farmers Market
Kitchener Market
Monigram Coffee Roasters
We would also like to thank everyone who stopped by our market booths to learn, donate, and reconnect after being away for so long. It was awesome to see our buttons floating around from our previous years, and engage with new faces.
New Partners
We also wanted to take a moment to give a big “Thank You” to following businesses that chose to connect and support our local initiative for the first time:
#LiveFitBabe Women’s Gym/ DC Fitness
Cafe Pyrus/ Cafe Pyrus Outpost
COMMUNITY EVENTS AND FEATURES
We were so excited to be back at both the Cambridge Farmers Market and Kitchener Market. It was especially exciting to be at the Market for their Holiday Artisan Market.
CONTINUING EVENTS AND FEATURES
This year we chose not to continue our Raffle Baskets in order to focus on the market days. We are appreciative of the support we received with the raffles we hosted up until this point.
